As you can see from the picture below, the pigs nave eaten everything they can in the area we have given them. So now it is time for them to move. Since the electric netting is such a pain to move, and due to Eric's research, we decided to try putting them in just a hotwire fence.
Two days ago I went out with grasskiller and killed the grass where we planned to put the fence. Today, Eric and Madison got the posts set up and prepared for wiring it while I was working on wiring the house.
We finally had it all finished, 4 lines of hotwire. We figured it would be easy to move them, we had the fences set up so they could walk right from one into the other...

Twenty minutes later...they are still eating the grass at the edge of their old spot, and still 6 feet from the new one.
