Till the Rooster crows...

This is what the yard looks like when the chicken tractor hasn't been moved in 6 days. It obviously wasn't made to be used on a hill, the wheels have been breaking for a few weeks now and they finally gave way. We need at least 3 people to move it now (until we get new wheels on) and since we have been so busy we haven't been home any night this week to move it.

** WARNING - If you are a vegetarian, or have small children nearby that would be disturbed by death you may not want to view the rest of this post**
Eric was working on getting some chickens to feed the dogs (the dogs are on a raw diet). Unfortunately, the chickens have an idea that something is up and won't come near the opening long enough for him to catch one.

We have alot of roosters that we are trying to get rid of.

The final blow...

...and off with its head

This is just one small handful of feathers that the kids pulled off after it was all over.
